Your opportunity to speak before the entire city council on the official public record regarding the Special Assessment District petition is Tuesday June 4 at 10am. The meeting will be held on on the 13th floor of the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center located at 2 Woodward Ave.
This is second of 2 hearings on the Special Assessment District. This first meeting was held before the Budget, Finance and Audit committee. This second meeting will be before the full council and the council could vote on whether the assessment passes. Notice of the hearing has been sent to all UD residents by the Detroit City Clerk, via US Mail. If you haven’t received this notice, you should be receiving it soon.
