Volunteer Help Wanted!
Finally, winter’s chill has given way to the warm weather of spring and you may have noticed that I’ve already started cleaning up along 6-mile.
However, I could use your help this year to clean up a few neglected areas in our community during the City’s Motor City Makeover Campaign.
So please make plans now to join me starting at Little Caeser’s Parking lot at the corner of Livernois and Santa Clara on
Saturday May 5th, 2018 at 9:00 A.M
We’ll attack their neglected, blighted alleyway and tidy-up the not so littered alley to the north that runs from Santa Clara to Santa Maria and we’ll take as much help as we can get.
If you have a favorite push broom, rake and or shovel, bring it. Gloves too. Don’t worry I’ll have some tools. The key thing is that many hands make the job faster. So even if you only have an hour to spare come join in the fun. And invite your friends and neighbors – all are welcome. You do not need to be a resident of University District to attend.
Light refreshments will be provided at Gesu Community Center at 12:30 P.M.
