The University District Community Association has several standing and ad hoc committees to
implement the association’s projects and activities. These include Residential Standards, Board
Elections, Beautification, Social, Block Captains, Membership, Communications and Special
Assessment District, to name a few. The projects, events, and activities these committees
execute support the UD neighborhood and its residents’ quality of life. Without UD
neighbors volunteering to serve on these committees, our work would not be accomplished.
There is an opening for a number of members to join the Special Assessment District Committee
(SAD). This committee administers the services funded by our special assessment. The
members of the committee are responsible for attending meetings and participating in
decisions and actions to implement the committee’s responsibilities. These include managing
the SAD budget; reporting income and expenses that support the SAD services to UDCA’s Board
and to UD residents; managing contracted services (currently snow plowing & security);
assuring COD ordinance compliance; and other activities in support of this effort.
If you are interested in serving on this committee, please reach out at SAD@udca.info.
