General Residents Meeting | 4.8.25 at 6 PM

The University District Community Association, Inc. is governed by bylaws that were established in over 40 years ago and are updated periodically through a formal Amendments process that requires ratification by a simple majority vote of the general membership at a Residents Meeting. The last time the bylaws were amended was December 2, 2021. The current bylaws can be viewed here

All households whose membership is current/paid should have received an envelope from UDCA with the text of the proposed changes and a reminder of the voting process. Members who join or renew between March 15 and April 6 will receive hand-delivered envelopes.

At the April 8 Residents’ Meeting, the UDCA Board will present the five proposed amendments, which have to do with role clarification, technical corrections and opportunities to streamline and improve service.  There will be opportunity for discussion. All residents whose UDCA Membership is paid will receive a ballot to be cast at that meeting. According to the current bylaws, the votes must be cast in person.
